Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The manuscript is relevant to the journal’s Focus and Scope in environmental health sciences and related applied fields. (see: Focus and Scope).
- The manuscript is an original work, free from plagiarism, and is not currently under consideration or undergoing peer review in another journal.
- The manuscript has been prepared in accordance with the journal’s Author Guidelines and follows the provided template.
- All authors have made significant contributions to the work and have approved the final version of the manuscript.
- The manuscript complies with research ethics standards, including ethical clearance and informed consent where applicable.
- Authors have disclosed any competing interests or conflicts of interest.
- The manuscript uses appropriate citation practices and follows the Vancouver referencing style with the assistance of reference management software (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero).
- All figures, tables, and supplementary materials are properly prepared and cited within the manuscript.
- The manuscript has been checked for language quality and clarity (in English or Indonesian).
- Authors agree to the journal’s copyright and licensing policy.

Authors who publish with Jurnal Kesehatan Lingkungan agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.
- The work is simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA), which allows others to share and adapt the work for any purpose, even commercially, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the work is distributed under the same license.
- Authors are permitted to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal’s published version of the work (e.g., posting to an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.
